The Sky's the Limit

How do you ensure unlimited potential for success for your child?  The answer is simple; read to and with them.  This simple bonding time between you and your child will become the most important gift you ever give them. Better yet, it will be the greatest gift you give to the rest of the world.

Research has proven time again that reading to children as early as when the child is in the womb increases reading, language and communication skills.  As it becomes increasingly more difficult in schools to help all children succeed to their potential, it becomes increasingly easier for teachers today to identify students who have reading modeled in their home on a regular basis.  They are the children who tend to “love” library day, communicate clearly and intelligently with a vast and well-rounded vocabulary, and often excel in writing and various other subjects.  Even if they have merely developed an appreciation for reading rather than a love, children who are read to regularly within the home setting tend to more confident, outgoing, and articulate, which are all skills that will eventually provide greater job opportunities in the future.
