Just recently I stumbled upon a website that I felt certain would have lots to offer me. You see, when I was in college, I threw myself into learning about computers. I was the girl on the floor who could fix whatever ailed anyone's computer as long as I had a screwdriver (and not the alcoholic kind...). I hung out in the server room of the school and learned all I could from the aging network support guy. At that time I had no real belief that I would need the knowledge, but I wanted it anyway.
Fast forward 11 years and here I sit with a killer desktop rig that I built myself, and 2 smokin 20 inch laptops. It is for this reason that when I stumbled on I thought icomputerdesign would be right up my alley. Boy, was I disappointed. Although it is a site with a lot of ok information, it seems like the articles all missed the mark. It doesn't have any articles about layout components in a case or water vs air cooling. Guess I will just have to stick with Tom's Hardware...
