Hello, is this thing on?
Me again. This time I am extremely happy. Its been an interesting couple of weeks. I made it this far and today I got a GREAT surprise. My mom has been visiting since Monday because Tuesday was my husband's 30th birthday. While my kids have been bouncing off the walls with happiness that Grandma is here, I have been worried about leaks from our toilets and how to get them fixed. Well, today after long hours studying toilets and finding out more than I ever wanted to know about how toilets work, I was sitting down to look at email and figure out what to do for our insurance (our insurance carrier no longer covers the state in which we live), when I heard a crazy commotion and screams of joy. When I came out and saw who was here I too screamed in joy. My sister and my two nieces were in the car going to a doctor and they decided to just keep on driving. While they are only here for a few days,it makes me happy to have a house filled with family. Its funny—we spend so much time in each others company growing up, but it seems like one day we are just thrown out on our own. Do not get me wrong, my family and I are VERY close. But we go from arguing over who gets to use the bathroom first to living separate lives that are sometimes in separate states and to be totally honest I dread the day it happens with my girls. So, for just a little while tonight we have gone back to fighting over the bathroom (only one of our toilets works) and all is right in my world!
