Jewels from the Zodiac

I have to admit that I am pretty harsh on some things. If you are going to do something, do it well! That being said, I was looking at emeralds online since they are my birthstone (Ok, here it comes, Extra Credit: When is my Birthday? No cheating now...) It seemed at first that the article had promise, but so many of the things that make Emeralds special were summarily excised from the conversation. To read this article, there isn't any special facets of an Emerald and that is such a horrible loss. For the perfectly cut emerald has a sparkle of mystery, a hint of a smile and so many heartbreaks and morning kisses. That is just at first blush—not even taking into account the feeling of inner peace that wearing an emerald day in and day out will give you. After all, emeralds do hold an inner fire, in addition to the feeling that is “home”
