11 popsicle sticks
Scissors
Craft paint (child should choose color)

School glue

First, lay out the wax paper or bag across your work surface. Next, lay three of the sticks side by side. Make sure they're all flat on the surface. Glue the edges of the sticks to each other to make the front side of the holder. To make the base of the card holder, do the same thing, only with two sticks instead of three. For the back of the business card holder, do the same thing again, this time with four sticks. Next, cut 1 1/4 inch off of two popsicle sticks. Lay two of the long edges together and glue them side by side. This makes one of the sides of the holder. Repeat those steps for the other side. Glue the front side to the base at a right angle, and then glue the back to the base in the same fashion. Now, you should have somewhat of a "U" shape. Glue the sides to the front, back, and base.
