Making Candy

There are many candies that you can make from home. Some are more complicated than others, but any of them are possible with a little bit of patience and a lot of creativity. One of the more basic recipes for candy requires marshmallow and some chocolate chips. To make fudge you need to get some sugar, milk, and marshmallow. Stir the sugar and milk well, and when it has boiled enough you need to add the marshmallow, and then the chocolate chips. Make sure they have melted completely. You can add some nuts if you want. That is a simple fudge. When you are making this candy, you need to make sure that you keep stirring the candy continuously as you are cooking it. When the candy has set up like it is suppose to, you need to pour it right into the pan so that the candy sets up right, and is not runny.

You can also make chocolate mint truffles. You will need some dark chocolate and one cup of heavy cream. Break up the chocolate in small pieces. When the heavy cream comes to a boil, pour it over the chocolate and let it set for 60 seconds and then pour in the mint extract. Once you have it all mixed together, roll the candy in the cocoa and then put it in the ice box. There are a million ways to create your own kinds of candy, you can add your own touches and always remember to have fun.
