Most of us fantasize about hitting it big one day-some people dream of the lottery, and most of us buy into the fantasy of gambling.  The fantasy centers on the fact that gambling has skill involved.  All skill sets have to start somewhere.  A good place to start is the layman's gambling guide.  It has a great synopsis of the rules and techniques for craps.  Craps is not a game that I know very much about, but this website is a great place to start.  This article clearly outlines the basics and gives a good place to start.  It explains about the pass line bets and that there are multiple ways to bet.  A player can bet against other players or against the house.  While this article is a good starting place, its important to really understand the mechanics of betting and of the odds before playing craps with money on the line.  One of the most important things though, especially since we are housewives trying to juggle so much, is NEVER to gamble more than you can afford to lose.  Winning is great and the rush is indescribable.  But as mothers we have to recognize that the odds are stacked for the house, and we can increase our odds of winning by increasing our skills, but we can not risk money that we need for our families or our regular bills.
